The timbers we reclaim are an excellent source of high quality “old growth” timber that may be used effectively and aesthetically in timber framing. Many timbers originate from logs cut from old growth forests over 100 years ago. It is not uncommon to find timbers with 20 growth rings per inch – a rare find today. The timbers are thoroughly dry, so there is no concern about shrinking or warping. We can supply you with a variety of species of hardwood and softwood including elm, walnut, beech, cherry, oak, hickory, chestnut, pine and teak.
